Recently they did an early stocking of the fly fishing only section of French Creek. I took an opportunity to fish this early Sat. AM. It was cold and had to deal with the ice flowing down the creek. The fish were extremely spooky. I parked midway and waded upstream past the one lane bridge and all the way down to the red covered bridge. Not many people were there until the early afternoon. Managed to get one real nice Rainbow on a San Juan worm.
