Fly Fishing Report: Monocacy Creek

Posted by admin on 16 April 2009 0 Comment

Took the day off to do some exploring. I decided to try Monocacy Creek. I fished the Illick Mill section and went through some of the Trophy Trout area. The water was low and slow. I did manage to get a small Brown Trout on a hares nymph. I went by the Route 512 Bridge area and that is definately an option for next visit.

Weather: Sun, 60s
Water Temperature: 61 degrees
